You can't go wrong with hip-hop because there are no incorrect answers. There have been several subgenres of hip-hop since its inception in the twentieth century. These include G-funk, conscious rap, Mumble Rap, Trap, and many more. Rap music enthusiasts have a plethora of options thanks to the ever-expanding world of online streaming.

Throughout the year, hip-hop remained the most famous music genre. Newcomers are shattering records and earning places on music's Mt. Rushmore, so it's easy to see why this subgenre is so popular. The best hip-hop albums of 2021 have been compiled in no particular order.

Call Me if You Get Lost – Tyler, The Creator

Tyler's music business, The Creator, has been around for almost a decade. Since he won the Grammy for "Igor" in 2019, it looks that the rest of the world is now catching up with his faithful fans, who have been following him from the beginning. With the release of his new single, "Call Me If You Get Lost," fans' excitement for his upcoming album only heightened. Since the "Gangsta Grillz" series on Datpiff was so popular during the mixtape era, Tyler decided to have DJ Drama host the album. With the release of his latest album, Tyler has fulfilled his promise to create his own "Gangsta Grillz" project.

Every album has a different flavor of Tyler, so it's impossible to predict what direction he'll go musically. Whatever the song, "WUSYANAME," his charm and humor, his braggadocious flow on "HOT WIND BLOWS," or his self-assurance on "RISE!," Tyler has it all. Hip hop industry should contact Tyler if an artist is lost and needs assistance.

Certified Lover Boy - Drake

The gleeful autopilot trip from contemporary pop's most charming glob of rage and self-pity is still Certified Lover Boy. It's hard not to recognize Drake's signature sound, which has made him one of the world's most well-known musicians. Using high-end samples, platinum guests, and scathing bars about exes and rivals, Drake hits all the notes that have made him one of the most well-known musicians in the world, and then some. To show that he can, he raps a hilarious version of Right Said Fred's "I'm Too Sexy" in a style reminiscent of The Lonely Island. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll keep listening.

Planet Her – Doja Cat

Doja Cat isn't odd to get attention; she's odd to be odd. Planet Her, the world she dwells on, is a bright pink lipstick-burlesque mashup of pop, trap, dancehall, and sci-fi. "Kiss Me More" is a brilliant bubblegum tongue-kissing ecstasy that brings out the freak in the Weeknd, Young Thug, and SZA. In her duet with Ariana Grande, "I Don't Do Drugs," she demonstrates the uniqueness of these two women.

Montero – Lil Nas X

Lil Nas X symbolizes a new generation of pop-rap artists by combining the two genres, although his first album, "Montero," isn't a typical rap album at its heart. Numerous critics predicted that Lil Nas X would be a one-hit-wonder after releasing his 2018 blockbuster "Old Town Road" and questioned his capacity to continue performing. Since "Old Town Road" became the longest-running number-one single in Billboard Hot 100 history, Lil Nas X hasn't slowed down at all. As a result of the video for his song "Call Me By Your Name," he became an internet phenomenon. After that, he worked with Jack Harlow on the song "Industry Baby," which is about being an "industry plant," continuing to set records. He continues to shatter records. Other notables include "Dead Right Now" and the Doja Cat-assisted "Scoop." When it comes to creating events that people will talk about, Lil Nas X is a master of the genre. Whether he's trolling his fans on the internet or hosting a baby shower for the birth of his record, Lil Nas X knows how to do it.

Donda – Kanye West

"Who is the most overworked loser? "

Kanye West ponders this question on his ninth studio album. He scolded him, "Big guy, get a mirror. I found Donda bewildering at times, exhilarating, morally corrupt, deadening, and amazing at other times. Moon, "No Child Left Behind," "Jesus Lord," and even "Old Kanye Banger Transcendence" are among the highlights of an otherwise incoherent, petulantly repetitious two-hour-plus fiasco. Kanye West continues to sift through his confusing, devastated, striving, self-canceling tale in agonizing real-time. As a whole, it's the work of a man determined not to let his inanity become so repetitive that we can ignore him.

Sometimes I Might Be Introvert – Little Simz

The British-Nigerian rapper's fourth album seamlessly integrates grime, hip-hop/soul, and old-school R&B into a cohesive whole. It's hard to ignore Simz's bravado as she drops lines like "Might be a brat for awhile/Fuck your blunt, man, I want my spliffs," but she also humanizes her inflated self-esteem in tracks like "I Love You, Hate You," a devastating letter to her absentee father that transforms her rage into a source of strength.

The Off-Season – J. Cole

For most of his career, J. Cole has achieved platinum status without participating in his records. What more can Cole do to establish his innocence? Between releasing albums and promoting them, he vanishes from social media for some time. Currently, Cole is doing things his way in both his professional and personal lives, as proven by his songs like "aply I'm going to be savage" and "1-0-0-M Il." "The Off-Season" is his newest album, and he collaborates with artists like 21 Savage and Morray and Lil Baby, Bas, and 6LACK. There are several highlights on the album, including the Bas-assisted "l'et. G. O... M... H... D." Cole deals with growing pains as an adult parent. As represented in the album's title, Cole's attitude of never resting on his laurels to reach the peak of hip-elite hip hop.

Hall of Fame – Polo G

One of Polo G's strengths is that he has a high opinion of himself, as seen by the names of his albums. His first two albums, "Die a Legend" and "The Goat," were followed by "Hall of Fame." In addition to the Billboard 200 number one "RAPSTAR," his most recent album also debuted at number one. When it comes to music, "Hall of Fame" has something for everyone. On "Party Lyfe," Polo is eager to party; on "Losses," he wants to speak about his problems with Young Thug, or he displays his star lifestyle on "Fame & Riches," Polo's album offers something for everyone to enjoy. Even though it has 20 tracks, "Hall of Fame" is an excellent work of art that doesn't seem to include any filler songs.

House Is On Fire – Isaiah Rashad

Isaiah Rashad epitomizes Top Dawg Entertainment's roster of musicians that march to their beat. As of 2016, his earlier album "The Sun's Tirade" has not been well-publicized. After five years, Rashad released "The House Is Burning," his most recent album. We're glad we waited so long. This album marks his victorious recovery from mental illness, drug abuse, and financial mismanagement. On Rashad's path to rehabilitation, musicians have accompanied him, including Lil Uzi Vert, Smino, and Jay Rock. The album's standout tracks are "Headshots," "Score," and "Chad." Even if it takes him five more years to release his next album, music lovers will always appreciate it if he uses the time to improve himself and his outlook on life.

Pray for Haiti – Mach-Hommie

Soul, jazz, and lo-fi are all woven together in Mach-album Hommy's "Pray For Haiti," which perfectly complements the rapper's laid-back flow. In the wake of a dispute with Westside Gunn, it's lovely to see the two working together again on this project." Besides serving as the album's executive producer, Gunn also sings on the smooth "Folie Deux" with specific lyrics. Songs like "The Stellar Ray Theory" and "Marie" have Mach-silky Hommy's cadence and rich imagery shining through the most. Listening to his rough-edged demeanor meshes perfectly with the soulful production.
